STCRA was delighted to welcome Cllr Heather Kidd, Leader of Shropshire Council, and Julia Buckley, MP for Shrewsbury, who spoke to and answered questions from a packed audience.
The event, held on Saturday 7th March, was ably moderated by Cllr Alex Wagner, Deputy Leader of Shropshire Council and Mayor of Shrewsbury, SC member for Quarry and Coton Hill and of Shrewsbury Town Council.
A big 'thank you' to the large number of residents who attended the event, and also who submitted their questions to Cllr Wagner in advance. This enabled him to arrange them by topic, so packing in as many points as possible that concern us all.
Our guests spoke openly and frankly of the challenges that they face, and of the successes that are being steadily and surely achieved in the Town. All three took questions from the floor, and stayed to chat with Residents after the formal meeting. We look forward to welcoming them again in the future.
